Occasionally, it’s good to throw off our British sense of reserve and embrace a compliment when it comes our way. And for us, that time is now. We were delighted to receive the news that we’ve been shortlisted for a Builders Merchants Journal (BMJ) Industry Award. The BMJ holds the title of the longest running industry publication, spanning almost 100 years, which makes us particularly proud to be involved.
We’ve been nominated for the prestigious Independent Merchant of the Year (1-10 branches) Award alongside other suppliers from across the country.
Aimed at celebrating industry success stories, this first ever awards programme from the BMJ is important because winners are selected by those working with builders’ merchants and the people who use our services – namely you, our customers! Uniquely, every category is decided by public vote.
The good news is that voting is now OPEN, so if you appreciate the service the team at D.W. Nye provides go to www.bmjindustryawards.co.uk to register your vote and help boost our chances of picking up the award. Voting will remain open until Friday 13th April. The voting process is quick and easy via a secure online form.
All our contacts can get involved and vote for us to win including customers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. The nominations will then be shortlisted to five finalists before the winner is announced on Friday 18th May at a celebrity-hosted luncheon at The Brewery, London. The programme is supported by market-leading names like Hanson Cement, H+H, Marshalls and Stonemarket to name a few.
The BMJ Awards programme has been organised by Datateam Business Media, the publisher of Builders Merchants Journal, and is aimed at showcasing some of the leading brands and influential people within the construction distribution supply chain sector.
D.W. Nye Managing Director Rex Nye comments:
